Lashed To Eternity
Lines I have penned to you in ecstatic transcendence,
are symbols that shall remain lashed to eternity.
They are permanent etchings,
not temporary desires in a dusty past.
When you reexamine my loving declarations,
may it rekindle the adoring flame from the avalanche.
Keep your acid tears from the pages,
of my earnest words.
Let our joined future not hold
the versus as a passing light.
The poetry between lovers
shall endure the decrees of this world.
