Las Vegas Dreams

Lights and glitter, everything that is gold Awaits the naive and daring alike Seeking a dream to slippery to hold Vanishing coin; your finances all on strike Eccentric beings, I politely call Guests who have lingered and made these streets home Accepting of vice, the big and the small Such candor quite absent where e'er I roam Diamonds may turn to glass come morning Revelations can wait, just one last slot Excitement builds and ebbs without warning Allusive dreams cannot catch what was sought Mythic, this city would have you believe Secrets sealed in glitter best to deceive
