Listen to poem:

Lanky Laconic

Laconic lullaby a simple sigh
a wink a terse goodbye,
pithy pun a pointed reply
made turgid when seen eye to eye.

Tangy zest an alibi
for why you flit on by
to mollify and justify
your brusque awry reply.
