Land of the Pharaohs

I could also see a couple holding each other, in a romantic embrace, as they gazed on the clear, night sky; papyrus hiding them from unexpected sight. Scribes, I imagined, writing down the history of their nation, under the shade of palm trees...... That's why I lazily walked; I didn't want to leave this land. It's rich and romantic history had become part of me, like I was having a deja vu ..... Date: 22/08/2014

Wonderful! I love everything Egyptian; Egypt is a beautiful, but rather hot place. Still, there's so much to see, so much to learn and experience and it does have a tendency to take one back into those times. Love it!
