Land of Old Glory
***************************************************************
I am Old Glory, a land of the golden west
I lie between the Atlantic blue, and a vast Pacific crest
Where freedom of speech and liberty is my God given right
Oh, Lord, keep my vision shining clear and bright!
I am the cornfields beneath the prairie sky
And the bluegrass where the rivers run high
A country made of men who dared to fight
Oh, Lord, keep my vision shining clear and bright!
I am snowcapped mountains that rise above the day
I am the right to live, the right to voice, the right to pray
I will not buckle beneath the strain, I will keep my faith in sight
Oh, Lord, keep my vision shining clear and bright
O’ land of mine, so proudly how you stand
A home for countrymen who came from other lands
Where hearts aspire freedom, and dreams are lifted high
Oh, Lord, keep my vision shining clear and bright!
I am youth’s ambitions yearning, in the restless springtime breeze
I am filled with hopes, where shelter lives, beneath the wintered eaves
I hold the torch of freedom, and the ever lasting light
Oh, Lord, keep my vision shining clear and bright!
