Land of Fairies
Sitting above the world with the sun in her hand
Wondering blissfully among the heavens
Her transparent dainty wings look elegantly grand
She’s in deepest thought of the most beautiful view
The only fairy left in existence
She wishes for her beloved to return
A warming light glows in the distance
As she watches the clouds dance in the blue
She’s dreaming of someone so special
Someone who she can flit among the stars with
She holds the sun as if it we’re a candle
Lighting her way to start life anew.
