Lance

Gone
Like sand dune swept by wind
Gone
Like snowflakes in the sun
Gone
Like bullet from a gun
Gone
Like dermis from the skin

Some place else you will build another glory
Not mortal now nor immortality
The spinning atoms drained of flesh and energy
The body comes to rest in all potentiality

Sense gone
Love gone
Life gone
Time gone

Gone is a paradox of space
For matter indestructible has no waste
Nor empty space outside of space
When no longer I see your face
Your soul then in what other universe trace
When with you make no other case.
