L'Amour Reste
if only you could see the bare sun rise
you would see the rays of the horizon
like beauty expressed through your lover's eyes
taking you back to the way it has been
the light will shine through as i watch you sleep
caressing your skin with such graceful ease
nothing else, it's your heart i wish to keep
can you see , without you , my heart , it bleeds
i will keep you close and so dear to me
i will not let you go without a fight
i can not let you go so easily
i need you here to hold me through the night
i love you so much and it's not a lie
it's true; more than all the stars in the sky
