Laments of the Mist

Naked
On the pulse of time
I wait

Naked
A silholuette
Marooned on paths spittle-spiced

Naked, Gehazi
Without two talents of silver
And two sets of raiment

A quaking step
This vanishing blur-
                            Oh
That my shadow may retreat
Ten steps to Ahaz
