Lamentations of the Apostle John

After the great and holy ascension
John travelled to the temple in contemplation
A pharisee called Arimanios came
Planted sand dust into his chest in damnation

John escaped into a lifeless desert
As John was crying forth two rivers in his heart
Jesus came to him and asked his brother
“John, why are you doubting as if drifting apart?”

Jesus Christ told the mysteries of life to John
Unspeakable sayings, unlawful to pass on
Now filled with spirit, breath and pure gnosis to live
He preached to friends the holy truth he rests upon
