Lament of My Life
An angel came and touched my lifeless heart
Mercifully she warmed me in her arms
We traveled through time's mist back to the start
Her peace was felt which sheltered me from harm
My life appeared to me, in a rainbow
Each color was a big part of my past
All my love shown as the color yellow
She joked about it's width, which made me laugh
The orange was my children being born
My anger and my temper faded red
Blue was the many losses I had mourned
Green signified bad deeds and words I'd said
She smiled, my rainbow was so colorful
The life I had was really wonderful
