Lament
I feel lonely - abandoned
this solitude is hard to bear,
no one knows how I feel
my love for you is not returned!
every word you spoke - a knife
that bled my heart.
I thought we were in harmony
and now are miles apart.
You will not find a kinder heart
that beats for you and no one else,
I was yours and always would be
Ifyou had loved me half as much
as the love I had for you.
