Lambent Love

lonesome lark sings in cornfields
lambent love ignites the night
a secret beat our hearts skip
you kiss with your eyes

Ooh…kissing with the eyes…love the first line - we usually think of crows in the cornfield but you’ve placed a lark. Fave

Such a romantic and love hued dodoitsu this is! The alliteration flow is so mellifluous along with gorgeous imageries, I really love the opening with "lonesome lark sings in cornfields lambent love ignites the night" How melancholy turned to saccharine memory.. So beautiful :) best of luck for the contest!
