Listen to poem:
I sit by the edge of the clear large lake,
My chin against my knees, a breath I take.
Idyllic warm sun adheres to my wake;
I lift my hands; pray, this joyous daybreak.
Enchanted by the seasoned run away,
unfasten thoughts of day-by-day workday.
A cheerful tranquil moment sets at bay
As I gaze out the caramel gateway.
The sun's glow wanes at a distance array;
Warm honey bathed the shore melting away.
Reality wanes through a hue archway;
A fond moment stolen, beside me lay.
