Yes, the ladybug is a type of beetle that eats a lot of aphids, so they say. They are sort of cute, but we don't like them when they come inside of our homes. The one of which you speak is from another country, but I am not sure if I could tell the difference. Thank you, James, for the nice visit. Sara K
