Lady Stone
Pain showering over me like midnight rain
frigid almost stone surrounding the heart
causing what is left to fall apart
tears no longer wet only ice
from a war and losing the fight
wounds exposed to the salty air
constant disappointment eating the flesh with nothing to spare
smiles not lasting longer then the breath inhaled
wondering when did it all fail
hands once used to caress and feel
are numb ready to peel
so cold the body it burns to touch
unable to move not able to do much
lips blue like the stormy sky
nobody needs to know no one should ask why
a girl who use to be full of life has been left alone
slowly dieing in the cold, nothing left but stone
