Lady of the Tides

Lady in white, lady in blue,
Lingering late by the ocean’s hue.

Fishes below like living stars,
Drifting softly in silver spars.

Sharks glide by, a silent tension,
A fleeting pulse, a darkened mention.

The sky leans close in mirrored view,
Reflected deep in the endless blue.

Very evocative description of sea moments, Akinola. You’ve captured the beauty of tension. This line is beautiful: “ sky leans close in mirrored view,”. Well done with this gem. I enjoyed this read. Sending Great Love. Shine on with your obvious talent for writing., Ghairo Xxx.

A beautiful poem about the ocean. I felt my mind drifting away and transporting me to some of my favorite beaches. Well done, Akinola.
