Lady In a Meadow

Butterflies in mid-flight,

Chirping birds in trees,

Springtime is now here,

Tell me what you see.

A rainbow of colors

Indeed do we see,

As blossoming flowers

Unveil mysteries;

Some flowers are green

Like the emerald pearl,

Others are as neat

As the Queen’s Crown Jewels;

Some are scarlet red

Like a rose ‘f finesse,

Many are beautiful,

But none surpasseth you!

Tell us of your name,

Beautiful maiden,

That we may go ‘nd tell

‘f your beauty to the world.
