Lady In a Glass Dress

She sits on the edge of the forest,
No purpose or thoughts in mind,
Waiting for a burst of sunlight,
Sleeping under a cloak of stars,

She shed tears borne from an unforgiving past,
Her present a mystery, aside has her future been cast,
Drowning with a mind overwhelmed with sorrow,
Praying for happiness in the morrow,

Victim of broken promises,
Swallowed by a sea of disbelief,
She cries for a savior , an angel's relief,
On fragile wings ,traveling on uncertain skies,
She yearns to belong in a new world,
One without lies
