Lady Grey
Who is your master miss lady grey?
Into green field your hoe is sinking,
Then, it comes a smile somewhat stray
To turn on for good a light blinking,
To freshen values bound and shrinking,
-These years asked for a desparity-
And there was no time for rethinking,
Before the end there's sometimes clarity.
So, where is your master lady grey?
Again you start your cringer winking!
But you did take the villein one day
And the next with the squire you're sleeping.
Romance from your eyes wild was seeping
-You then needed some disparity-
Because your tedium was heaping,
Before the end there's sometimes clarity.
In his service all those years you stay,
Yet, next to another you're sleeping
You even gave birth to a child stray,
Living a love with past not linking,
Fooling all and secretely weeping.
How explain such similarity?
Your son will find out, you are thinking
Before the end there's sometimes clarity.
Lady, what secrets are you keeping?
Each story should own its rarity.
You know, even if mind is slipping,
Before the end there's sometimes clarity.
