Lady Bugs

Lady bugs are very pretty creatures
Tiny delicate little precious things
Peaceful insects with unique features
Special bugs with spots on their wings
Ancient lore says they’re from heaven
The ones who crawl cross your hand
And if their spots will number seven
Then there’s a wedding to be planned
Should she somehow land on your head
According to folklore dealing with bugs
You’ll not be getting a new hat instead
But from your lover kisses with hugs
