LADDER TO THE SOUL
Tapering tall trees of pine
Cathedral high to the sky
Soft shades of green soothe the eye
Captures the heart, melts the mind
Slender ladder to the soul
Do not think it’s just a tree
It’s a strong and mighty force
Bares the source to set you free
