Labyrinth

Crystal drops of innocence,
Feed the verdant road.
Mazes of corn and brick and
stone,
Regrets, mistakes, sowed.
Labyrinth of glass and
opulence,
Fragile obsidian twist.
Bending will, traveled less,
Disappearing with the mist.
Spiral path, heaven bound,
Never ending dream.
Melancholy melody,
Lacking what it seems.
Flaxen fire, glitter dust,
Cloak and dagger too.
Tempted by the impossible
night,
Mare of him...who?
Animated virginity,
Peppermint stripe, an end.
Etched into a memory,
A song that never ends.
