Labour of Love- Caribbean Style

((( Sailor

                               Sail your boat

Sun's rising ~ on the sea

                              Set your sails

                      Winds blowing easterly

                        Cast your nets to fish

                       Pack your catch and go

                    Your woman’s waiting home

                         To feed the family )))

Bonsoir Susan...By now you know I like to mix it up... This is Caribbean folk... then again my version of it... This may be a little difficult for some poets to relate to...because it has that lullaby style... All the best to you my dear friend...I appreciate you a lot

Fried or grilled fish for the evening meal..Enjoyed reading this one..This is one that my mother taught me when I was young..Fishy, fishy in the brook..Daddy caught him with a hook..Momma cooked him in the pan..And I ate him like a man..Sara

Quite uplifting, in recognition of labor, and urging for care of family--well written, Arturo!
