Labeling

Labeling
Goth
Punk
Prep
Whatever
Are we soup cans or people
Do we need labels, can’t we just be
be who we want to be
Without having to worry
About what other people might think
We have the freedom to speech and press and religion
Doesn’t that also mean I have the freedom to be me
To be whatever and whoever I feel like being
Before you label someone
Why don’t you look in the mirror?
And label the only person you have the right to
The person looking right back at you
