La Vie En Rose
What would life be like?
Pink like the roses
Care free as a lamb
Unstoppable like the sunshine
Rose beds to lie upon
New colourful people to meet every turn
Days spent gazing down the meadows
Vineyards full of golden grapes.
What an interesting life that would be!
But unfortunately not the life for me
This world is not made of rose pathways
Showers of lemons drops
The life we lead requires sweat and tears
Sleepless nights and endless days
So much for La vie en rose
I would not have it any other way!
