Premiere Contest WinnerLa Baie des Anges The Bay of Angels

       blinded by blue
 I'm outside looking in
          racing with the moon
       to be near you

          the moon abandons its shadow
       I abandon myself
                 twilight, is daylight, is night
once again ~
as the ocean drifts to join you
you are held aloft by the reposed breeze
I know not
    if you inhale
          the scent of those flowers

guide my path
   as I venture onwards
to be the mist
        that gathers on your skin
 the air
    that whispers
in your ear
to be the silver light of the moon
        that bathes you each night

from sky to ocean
as blue fades into blue
painted into forever
I offer myself to you

Very sensitively written, Laurentine. Excellent first & last line. I liked the spaciousness the ekphrasis conveys. Congrats on well deserved win. Sending blessings.

Marc Chagall's paintings are simply stunning in their dream like beauty - I did my best to try and capture a fraction of it. Thank you for your thoughtful comment, appreciated :)

Marc Chagall's paintings are simply magical - so easy to get lost in the blue. I think I've struck lucky that myself and Brian have similar taste in art - I'm thrilled to get a trophy collection so quickly <3 thanks for stopping by with supportive words David - very much appreciated :)
