Kyrin

Each day I watch you change,
a little at a time
Handsome and intelligent
this brilliant son of mine
Unbelievably you grow
with every passing day
Absorbing wonders all around
I know you'll find your way
No doubt you'll be successful
It shines in you like gold
A queen I was
to have you son
A gift from God to hold
No mother could be prouder
Or as blessed as I have been
I'm sure no matter what
You'll always be my friend
All my hopes and dreams
for life to you be kind
Always let the light in you
be unafraid to shine
How wonderful to have a son
as precious as is mine

Your son will cherish this poem all his life! And especially liked how you ended this poem. A 7 rating. I lost one of my sons to illness, Gary, when he was 13 many years ago. So thank you for reminding others how precious their children and family members are because we never know how much time we have left with them.

Sorry for the lose of your son. I read this to Ky and he was so delighted that I wrote this for him. He is only 8 years old. The light of my life. I just wanted him to know how special he is to me. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement.

That is a beautiful heartfelt tribute to your son... a precious gift entrusted to you. I have a son too.. he is 27 and married, but I still hold the exact same sentiments as you have illustrated in a wonderful poem :) #7
