Koi Fish Is 226 Years Old

Two hundred and twenty-six years I am told. Is how many years this koi fish is old. But who has kept track? How far could they go back? I demand an explanation, big and bold.

Sure sounds fishy to me! I think that they try to pull our legs on porpoise. Just for the halibut! ~ Mr. Limpet

Good write, Caren. As for the facts, fifty is a great age for a carp. One hundred aint gonna happen. I’ve been ‘fishy’ since I won a goldfish at a fair when I was nine (and that was months ago). The Japanese like to credit Koi with all kinds of mysticism... but they’re just specially bred, coloured carp. Well... you did ask. ;-) Terry

Me, too, Caren. Hey, be sure to check out my Vogon, which was written because of your challenge.
