You can examine the past
With regret or longing
But you can never change
The events as they occurred
All that you can hope for
Is that you gain wisdom and experience
Knowledge and insights
For your spiritual path and growth
You can plan your future
With care and consideration
But you can't control how much time
You have to accomplish all your dreams
All that you can hope for
Is that you know yourself fully
That you embrace your uniqueness
And your special purpose
