Knowledge
Knowledge
Is it a thing taken for granted
That it has become
Underrated,
Trimmed of its glowing wings
So much that
We make as if it matters not;
Nor needed for our survival
Nor for self understanding
Rather,
We tend to take it
As an object of ridicule
Meant to be amassed
By those deemed as foolish
Or nerdy in personality
Where there be so much space
And scope
Available for fun to be experienced!
Knowledge, though,
Should it not be revered
As the crown which adorns our head?
For has it not been given to us
By those powers ruling ever so subtly
Upon us
Merely in a moment of love,
For they solely wished to see us
Bloom into what can be deemed
As human versions of themselves;
Beings totally aware of
The essence of higher consciousness
And able to live according to
The pulls of their tamed senses
At the same time!
