Knowing I'Ll Never See You Again

Knowing I'll never again hear your voice
Knowing to leave was never your choice
Knowing you were in pain and didn't want to leave
Knowing it was harder, so much harder than it seemed
Knowing you kept a smile through all your pain
Knowing you would see a sunset after a stormy rain
Knowing you would pretend to e happy, keeping the faith
Knowing you were dying, knowing your fate
Knowing through your fight you still put yourself last
Knowing through the night you smiled at the past
Knowing you ached and pretend all was well
Knowing you tried to keep us safe, away from this hell
Knowing what was going to happen after all your struggle and strength
Knowing you was trying your best keeping your soul and strength
Knowing how much you have been through kills me everyday
But to know that you are my guardian angel I no I'll be okay

We will always have those precious memories of those we have lost Dominique. Having lost friends and family to cancer I can relate to your words so much:-( hugs Jan xx
