Knowing How To Feel
Following you're heart with beliefs attached strengthened
giving you're mind a peace with balance with sight
To have patience, love and understanding toward people
who give you guidance with truth that bringeth light
In the darkness that comes or times tougher than tornado's
lights may burn out though this light doesn't flicker
It remains strong on the foundation that it remains on
standing even if the tornado's destruction grew thicker
Tearing away everything in sight surrounded by you
blowing away everything you worked so hard for
That doesn't mean to give up on going forward in life
for what awaits you is a blessing and much more
For when you survive through the most heartbreaking trial
carrying yourself still even with you're body in pain
You are blessed already for walking forward through smoke
that you put out by accepting to purify yourself in the rain
It has cleansed you as a person still I believe in my heart
that no matter what the future holds to us here
It's our actions that count now for the present day of living
for our time on earth is unknown possibly near
Man can't predict how long you will live in this land
only our creator can predict such miraculous claims
For in his book He constructs every written entry
mulitiple list apon list of Heavens promise with names
Surely there is not just one name already within this book
many have been added even for those that fall
For God gives us chances to make ourselves better friends
for where we have been His Son went through it all
Looking at things from our Spirit with truth in each fact
knowledge seeked or given through every sign
Through each passing stage that we go through in life
even these great words from God given not mine
Blessed be those who are humble with Spirits beauty
knowing the greatness in changes are true and real
Who are shining forth though any burden or unforgettable
reputation those who understand what it's like to really feel.
