Knowing
Knowing that you are the only one,
Who has been there for me a ton,
No one else cared,
When my emotions flared,
Thinking bad thoughts,
Wishing you were there with the things you brought,
The necklace,
The bracelets,
Never caring about the mess,
That hid beneath my skin,
Without you there would be no me,
Thanks for knowing what you would see,
You are my friend,
The only one I can count on to lend,
Out themselves to help,
Me be a better person,
Let me return the favor,
By being there for you,
When your upset,
I will be your shoulder,
No matter the situation,
Just remember,
Knowing what you are going through,
I also felt the pain,
Thank you my friend.
