Know Me

I wrap my arms around you
My heart is on my sleeve
I need to touch that feeling
That only love can see

Don’t walk too far in front of me
Don’t lag a bit behind
Take my arms and know me
My heart, my soul, my mind

Don’t want a love as using
To feel that hurt again
Just see my mind and know me
And keep up with my time.

Please don’t try to fool me
I’m not so strong you see
My mind still lies in tatters
From some time that I believed

Its friends that I can handle
Not lovers or you thieves
That steal that space within me
And make it mockery.

Don’t tell me all your lies
Don’t try to win this game
I’m not so dumb that I can’t see
That things are not the same.
