Knossos At Night

Dark landscape
Moon-lit ruins
Guitars sing to you

Kallístei,
Hos en álloi kósmoi*

The temple rises
Saffron on the cliffs
Aphrodite stands
On the waves

I never got to see Knossos at night, but can hear your music. A beautiful city, with a poem to match.

How neat, because the poem was inspired by a Satie song. Thanks for the comment!
