Knocking At Freedom's Door
From every walk of life they come----
to America.
From every nation,
huddled masses yearning to be free.
Faces frozen in fascination.
Give me Liberty.
Give me a place to call home.
Give me a choice to stay or go.
They congregate town within town.
Brother with brother.
Looking for that dream.
Once mouthed by a King.
Now one to another.
To ponder.
