Knocked Out
On Valentines Day as friends met their girlfriend's
I felt sorry for myself, wishing I had one
Sue, I imagined would surly agree if I tried
True she hated boys, but I was free to propose her.
There she entered the campus gates and I moved
On a collision course getting real close to her
Our eyes met; See her smile to quickly close her eyes.
Bang! My head hurt, within books I lay on the ground.
Cursing I opened my eyes to learn I had crashed
Into the most beautiful face on planet earth:
Involuntary my lips touched hers as we kissed.
Helped to our feet, I massage my brains saying sorry.
'Anna you are wild, never looking where you go'
I heard Sue, to realize I had fallen in love;
With Sue's younger sister who had just joined college.
There and then I proposed Anna 'Be my girlfriend'.
Surprised Sue laughed out loudly to compliment me:
Please forgive me, for I knew Sue's heart was shattered.
