Knocked Off My Feet
You shared a piece of you with me
Showed me your life in pictures
A glimpse inside you let me see
Now you and I are fixtures
In the world of happy lovers
Oh so joyful and content
Above the bird of paradise hovers
Could it be you're heaven-sent?
You are the light of day my sweet
And evenings tranquility
Knocked so gratefully off my feet
This blind woman now will see
The merit of giving up your heart
For a lifetime wrapped in bliss
Loving you right from the start
Burning me with your kiss
Let the journey truly begin
Travel with me to a far off place
Where the sun bronzes our skin
And sand sparkles your face
We can make a home anywhere
A love nest built for two
When you wake up you'll find me there
Your whole lifetime through
