Knife Crime Britain

Knife ?

Death Wish ????????
CHECK

See you Later ?

Maybe you will ?
Maybe you won't ?

Whole life ahead
Barely a teenager
Yet leaving home dressed to Kill

Far to young to understand
Just exactly how this scenario will play out or end

You either end up Stabbed to Death Yourself
Or
Sentenced to Life in Prison

Better still might as well take that Knife
And drive it through your Mother's Heart

Because whatever the final outcome

It's the Mother's who are bound to Suffer
And come off Worse

When you are reduced to a Photograph
In a Locket or her Purse

Or flowers on your Grave
To mark another Anniversary

She bor you and gave you life
And in return how do you pay her back and thank her

You Steal her Child from her

For What ????

A good cautionary tale Christopher. Canada is still pretty good but we do have some gang violence in the larger centres. Hopefully the will not become epidemic.

It only will Richard if you have feeble political leaders and a justice system that is no deterrent at all. Deeds are needed not words Condemnation doesn't deter

A powerful write Christopher - I didn't realize things were that bad in Britain! South Africa is renowned for its crime but sad to think the whole world will shortly be plagued by poverty to the point that war won't be for power but for food and water. Poetry hugs, Jennifer.

Agree the future is looking bleak. If things get bad enough people will strike back. And people will fight to the death for food and water

Your so right Jennifer People ask me did I leave S.A and move back to Liverpool to get away from all the crime. That seems mute now as its slowly getting just as bad here now sadly.

Sadly its becoming worse Christopher and sadly becoming the norm in Britain. Not due to cuts in police numbers ?, yeah right. New York had problems, police numbers doubled, problems solved.

Regrettably we do not have a Mayor Guiliani willing to institute a Zero Tolerance approach to Crime. What we do have is an army of Do-Gooders who wish to justify and defend not the victim questioning rather what have we done to this poor person to make them do what they did

Sadly British politicians don't have the will to make the Tough decisions. The British legal system does not care about Victims it only cares about the Criminals rights

Well done. what I never get, is parents who insist on staying in shooting gallery hoods.... Then the kids, of course, die. A tragedy for an entire family. Panagiota

If you can't understand the parents Panagiota . If nothing else it makes there children's actions easier to explain or understand as Monkey see Monkey Doo
