Kitten

I simply adore my gorgeous li’l kitten,
I’m besotted, in fact I’m totally smitten.

With piercing blue eyes and snowy white fur,
when I stroke Alana I hear her loud purr.

Alana’s fur is as soft as finest Chinese silk,
and her tiny pink tongue just loves to lap milk

A fun scratching post sits by the back door,
her pink bowl and litter box are on the floor.

I’ll watch her play with her clockwork mouse,
Alana chases her ‘mousie’ all over the house

When she gets tired she curls up on my lap,
Soon we’re both fast asleep as I love to cat nap!
