Kitchen Drawer Hero

I was but three when I took a stand,
just me and my hired hand,
a lonely, used-up kitchen scrubber,
and an intrepid band of rubber.
I blew up a little red balloon,
tied to a basket and left too soon.

The list of heroes is certainly ballooning, thanks to you, David. Keep smiling, Gershon

For some reason, on reading this, “Juke Box Hero,” by Foreigner, came to mind…lol…who knows what’s in the mind of boys 😂

Haha, yeah, I remember that song - a Juke Box Hero would be a cool thing to be. I think John Lennon also had a song called Working Class Hero. Well, let's not overlook our kitchen drawer heros!
