Kissing Lips

The wondrous starlight of night
surrounds your face like a veil
made from the moon's glowing rays of mist
giving pause...to our dream-like state of lingering wishes
before time evaporates when our lips melt together
in a deep hungry passionate kiss
that burns our souls from within
torching the bond of our mouth's sensations as they part
