Kisses of Sandpaper
Softly the pitter patter
Peaceful melody of purrs,
filling your soul with laughter
furry four legged treasures;
meowing their words of love
blinking 'Hello' with their eyes,
punching your heart like a glove
staring at you from up high;
pouncing softly to your lap
a joy to watch each caper,
right before taking a nap
sweet kisses of sandpaper.
