Kissed By An Angel

My oh my as I pass on by
I catch an angel out of the corner of my eye
As I apply the brakes
To make sure this was no mistake
No way is she fake
Wow how she makes my heart pulsate
This beautiful angel I see flying across the landscape

When I catch up with her I try to look her in the eyes
As she glowed up on high throughout the midnight sky
Before I could say why she laid her hands upon me
Which made me feel somehow all this loneliness will pass on by
I would never lie about this beautiful angel
Who lights up the sky

The pure love that I felt in that moment
I thought I was going to melt
I know I need to loosen up my belt
Because I can feel my temperature rise
See myself glowing in her beautiful eyes
Nobody is going to believe who came to visit
From way up beyond the skies

The last thing I felt was like a soft fur pelt
The warm kiss of an angel of God
Who had given me an amazing wish
For when the angel touched me with her holiness
Then all my loneliness disappeared into the fine mist

Thank you for hearing my prayer
I will be sure to cross it off the list
Because all my loneliness
Disappeared with an angel's kiss
That i’m so happy I didn’t miss
