Kiss of Perfection

For eons it seems I did observe,
up close and from afar,
secretly I yearned to feel them near.
I watched the pair at work and at play,
all the while dreaming they were mine.
I wished for their touch to belong to me.
I wanted to taste their delectable sweetness.
One morning you gave me my dream.
That gift held all its' promise.
It was the Kiss of Perfection.
