Kings of Yore

KINGS OF YORE

Kings of yore
Set up shrines
To honor the beginning of a glorious day
When the weak becomes strong
Troubles burns in flames
And the wind keeps on running
To support on dispersal
And there from the ashes of pain
You conquer and finally get your wish
Passing through danger joyfully
Fulfill your position and master it with balance
And uprightness all the way
Between heaven and earth
I see you took measures and stands
With virtuous behavior like sages
Persist in their way to bring changes
And development for ever
So I’m faithful to you
As all sadness vanished
The moment our souls shines in each other’s stare
Thunder and wind
Action in harmony
The way of heaven and earth persist for ever

Dictators brainwash the mind and suppress the spirit, but the soul has a God-given yearning for freedom that cannot be ultimately suborned by these tyrants. Nice, historical overview of the tyrannies of the autocratic kingdoms of ancient times.
