King of the Milky Way Galaxy

Jupiter reigns over our solar system
His magnificence surrounded by four doting moons
Who wait for his instructions

Like a polished stone,
His majesty is visible to our eye
As he was to the early Greeks and Romans

Jupiter, King of the Milky Way galaxy,
Do you have any sage advice?
Are you infusing our dreams with it?

Your gaseous liquid matter
Keeps you ethereal and secretive
Allowing you to reign in peace, undisturbed by astronauts

Sometimes I wonder if you are the keeper of heaven
Where spirit does not need body?
Where spirit watches us from afar.

Jupiter, oh, Jupiter, your quintessential secretiveness intrigues me!
