Kindness Is Not Weakness

Being kind, is to risk getting hurt, feeling like a sucker, when others do not do what you do for them. Choosing it, nonetheless, is courage, while selfishness is cowardice, not the other way around. Kindness challenges injustice, selfishness condones it, the former innovates, the latter follows the follies of this fallen world.

Hello Jackie, the drugs were stronger than your kindness You know what.. you can meet someone better, he has a drug problem and you don'r want to have that problem, Kindness is good. You did well. Darlene your friend.

Thank you, Darlene. I wrote this yesterday, after a boyfriend of two years I treated with nothing but kindness chose illicit drugs over me. Yet I still believe in kindness.
