Killing Sentient Creatures
The whales are our sentient friends.
Why would we want to see their ends?
Laws among nations need amends
and message sends and message sends.
Their lives are graceful to behold;
their blood is warm, it is not cold.
Their species is so very old.
Stories untold. Stories untold.
How can the world ignore their plight?
They live their lives in pain and fright,
in spite of all their fearsome might.
Must clear our sight. Must clear our sight.
They’re disappearing from the sea.
We can’t allow this fate to be.
All countries must come to agree.
They must be free. They must be free.
